How Rarity Score Works
🔢 Rarity Score Calculation
Our rarity system uses a 1:XXXX ratio format that shows how rare your NFT is compared to the entire collection.
Example:
"Rarity Score: 1:500" means only 1 in every 500 NFTs has this level of rarity or better.
⚡ How We Calculate It
- Trait Analysis: We count how often each trait appears in the collection
- Individual Scores: Each trait gets a score: Total NFTs ÷ Trait Count
- Combined Score: We add up all trait scores for the NFT
- Global Ranking: NFTs are ranked from rarest to most common
- Ratio Creation: We convert rank to the 1:XXXX format
🎯 Rarity Tiers
Mythical (Top 1%)
1:1000+ ratio - Ultra rare, only ~55 NFTs
Legendary (Top 5%)
1:200+ ratio - Very rare, ~278 NFTs
Rare (Top 15%)
1:50+ ratio - Rare finds, ~833 NFTs
Uncommon (Top 35%)
1:10+ ratio - Less common, ~1944 NFTs
Common (65%+)
Below 1:10 ratio - Most frequent traits
💡 Pro Tips
- Higher ratios = Rarer NFTs: 1:5000 is much rarer than 1:10
- Multiple rare traits: NFTs with several rare traits get higher scores
- Dynamic ranking: Based on the actual collection data, not arbitrary numbers
- Fair system: Every trait combination is evaluated equally
